I promised that I would tell you guys whether or not I would do another video course based on how successful the Alpha 2.0 Business Course was.

Good news. I’m doing another video course.

Sales for the Alpha 2.0 Business Course exceeded all of my sales projections, almost doubling my highest estimates. (Yes, I’m serious. I still can’t believe it. I was walking around my house, stunned, during the release week. Just ask Pink Firefly.) Moreover, the number of refund requests we received was within the low range of what I expected. Very, very pleased.

So not only was the course a success, it was one of the biggest successes of my entire business career. Thank you all so much for those of you who are still participating in the course. Fantastic stuff.

So yeah, I’m ready to do another course for you guys, as I promised I would if this course did well.

Since the way I structured the last course worked so well, I will sell the next course the exact same way. That means:

  • It will only be purchasable for one week; after that, it won’t be available.
  • It will be the same price as the last one, $697 for a one-time payment or 3 monthly payments of $267 each.
  • It will include the same amount of video (around 6-7 hours) or more of content, plus transcripts, plus some personal coaching from me.
  • There will also be one, perhaps two additional upsell courses that you can optionally add to your curriculum.
  • It will feature me plus one or more more lovely assistants.

The release date for this new video course is:

March 22nd, 2019

That means that despite the fact it will only be available for one week, I’m giving you guys a four month warning on this, so no excuses.

What will the next course be about?

Good question! That’s up to YOU!

Yes, YOU get to decide what this course will be. I have outlines of six possible video courses that I’m willing to do. I’ve listed them in the below survey. Please rank the six topics (plus a possible custom topic) in the order in which you desire them, placing your most desired course at the top of the list, and so on.

I will choose the next course based on the results of this survey, in about two weeks, and will announce it then.

I’ve also placed a field in the survey where you can give me suggestions / recommendations regarding the next course. Comments are also welcome.

Here’s a summary of each of the course options:

Alpha 2.0 Business Course – “Level Two”

This would be a course designed for guys who already purchased the Alpha 2.0 Business Course and those of you who already have Alpha 2.0 or location independent income. This course will get into more detail regarding marketing, scaling your business, product design, infrastructure, customer management, product funnels, and various other things. It’s all the mindsets, techniques, and information designed to take your existing Alpha 2.0 business to the next level.

Maximize Your Finances

This would be an all-inclusive, comprehensive course on managing your personal finances. It would cover personal budgeting, minimizing taxes, asset protection, internationalizing your businesses and finances, investing, savings, paying off debt, real estate, diversification, and numerous other topics related to maximizing your return on effort and investments. This is a very big, very important topic, and something I’ve done very well with over the years.

Younger Woman Dating Success for Older Men (Age 30 and Up)

I had already planned this one as an intensive two-day seminar but never got around to actually marketing it. (I’m busy.) This would be an entire course for the older man (over age 30) on how to maximize your personal attractiveness and dating skills as you age so you can meet, date, and have relationships with younger women, including much younger (legal) women. It would cover topics including personal appearance, looking good as you age, TRT, skin and other regimens, supplements / vitamins, cosmetic procedures, gaming much younger women as an older man (both normal dating and sugar daddy game), OLTRs / OLTR marriage with younger women, financial issues as it relates to younger women, managing children while living the Alpha Male 2.0 lifestyle, and a bunch of other things us older guys need to wrestle with.

How To Be A Six-Figure Information Marketer

I covered some of this in the Alpha 2.0 Business Course, but this course would focus completely in on an Alpha 2.0 business selling information. Books, ebooks, podcasts, videos, blogging, social media, writing, product design and implementation, marketing, building an audience, I would cover all of that stuff in great detail so you can duplicate what I have done.

Designing Your Alpha Male 2.0 Life

This course takes The Unchained Man as a baseline and greatly expands upon it, taking you step-by-step through everything, including new exercises, so that you can lay out and design your ideal Alpha Male 2.0 life. It covers finances, money, women, dating, goal setting, lifestyle design, the Seven Life Areas, time management, long-term planning (kids, marriage, retirement, etc) and many more areas. It’s for those of you who read The Unchained Man, loved it, but wanted more.

How To Be A Six-Figure Consultant

I went from zero to six-figures in 3.5 years as a young man being a consultant, and I’ve made millions of dollars consulting since then. Being a consultant is the core of my business life, and in this course, I would show you how to get from zero to the six-figure money as fast as possible being a professional consultant. I would cover topics such as rainmaking, sales, closing, pricing, fee structures, implementation, outsourcing, working with clients, getting referrals, bookkeeping, and lots of other key aspects. Being a consultant, as I’ve said, is one of the fastest ways to get to the big money there is. No college required, no licenses required, just some knowledge in one area (and it can be just about any area) and a willingness to put in the work.

So, those are the courses I’m willing to do. Please pick your favorite and rank it below as number one, your second as number two, and so on. I’ll announce what the new course will be, based on your selection, in about two weeks.

52 Comments on “Choose My Next Video Course!

  1. Lots of good ideas there. I answered the survey and sorted them, but, to me, the consultant / information / younger women is clearly atop the other propositions. The “maximize your finance” is the least interesting to me, because I know a lot about it and know for a fact these things strongly depend on the country you live in (especially regarding investing). Alpha male 2.0 is too generic.

  2. When asking for ideas on things like this, I might suggest closing comments for this particular article.  I almost was tempted to also comment what one of my suggestions to you was, but that may influence others on how they answer your survey.  Just a suggestion.

  3. When asking for ideas on things like this, I might suggest closing comments for this particular article.

I understand what you’re saying and I considered it. But the input and recommendations I get from comments are just too valuable. I need all the information I can get.

Plus, if you really want something, seeing a comment from a guy who doesn’t want that same thing isn’t going to sway you much.

  4. I get the logic of asking for that price for a business course, but I am curious if a generic lifestyle or women skills course would sell for that money. Especially considering that your books on these topics are between 9 and 50 dollars, the price discrepancy is then huge. What will be the added benefit to compensate for such a price difference?

  5. I get the logic of asking for that price for a business course, but I am curious if a generic lifestyle or women skills course would sell for that money.

    I’m curious too. That’s why I’m asking.

Especially considering that your books on these topics are between 9 and 50 dollars

Dude. There are bullshit pickup-artist bootcamps that go for $4,000 and that sell out, so the price of the books is totally irrelevant. There’s also a reason I targeted that course option for older men only.

But we’ll see what people in the survey say. I’m just as curious as you are.

  6. Survey taken.

I’ve got specialised knowledge in an investment vehicle. At the moment the way I work is this: I give out the information to my clients, they use it and when they have profited, I tell them to send me a commission of their profits – strictly results based.

My issue is this: I know that some(perhaps most) of my clients don’t accurately report their profits to me which is a shame because I directly made it for them and I have no way of knowing for sure without demanding a screen shot of the transaction which given the nature of my field is intrusive. So I just accept whatever I’m told.

I’m considering changing the way  I charge from commission based to a fixed price they pay for the information. On the one hand while this may solve this problem, I still believe I can get to high income faster charging a commission as it is directly linked to the profit made.

What’s your opinion on this BD?

  7. Hi Caleb,

Off topic slightly but I just PayPal’d you an early final payment for the Alpha Male 2.0 Business Course.

  8. Designing Your Alpha Male 2.0 Life

This. For purely selfish reasons as I am putting my life back together post-divorce, and a guide would be super helpful.

Although I would be concerned that a course that covers something with that many topics would be too vague.

I ended up buying your course even though I am already successful online. Good stuff, I learned enough to make the course worth it.

Younger Woman Dating Success for Older Men (Age 30 and Up)

This would be my second choice, as it’s something that is down the road for me. I am focusing on women in my own age range right now. (mostly because I am in sales and in a lower population area, so a bit concerned over trying to date much younger women and it hurting my business due to perception/reputation…unless your course would cover that concern?)

  9. Honestly the thing that made your book so great and had me re read it multiple times was your alpha 2.0 lifestyle insights and tips.

A book can only say so much ultimately … and when you talk about all those topics and helps create a “vision” and blueprint in my life to work towards for the areas that resonate with me. It also just gets me excited in general. So that would 100% be my top choice, six figure consultant second.

Things like Finance…it’s helpful but… IMO (for me personally) I WOULD want to see a course like that, but I would definitely choose an expanded version of designing the alpha 2.0 lifestyle and all the areas you mentioned within it to get me pumped first and excited and create more insights into things to work towards, and then see the finance course after.

  10. Off topic slightly but I just PayPal’d you an early final payment for the Alpha Male 2.0 Business Course.

Great, email my staff about this. Don’t post customer service issues/questions in the blog comments.

So that would 100% be my top choice

Yes, at some point I would like to do some kind of expanded offering regarding Alpha 2.0 lifestyle; a course, a set of books, a set of videos, something. It’s core. I consider The Unchained Man a very important and required overview and introduction, but with the meat coming later.

But! I’m trying to keep my personal opinions out of this and I’m going to wait to see what the audience says. As always, in business, what your market wants is usually more important (and more accurate) than what you want.

  11. Phero: is there no way you can solve this issue contractually? (I’m curious about such things myself)

BD has mentioned things like marketing on behalf of businesses then taking a cut of the profit from increased sales, but surely to make that work properly it’d require the business to be reporting honestly to you, or for you to have access to their sales figures or accounts…so I’m sure there’s a way. Perhaps speak with your lawyer? Or perhaps there’s a business book that covers this sort of model? (Anyone?)

Another solution might be to work on just being intrusive so you can get that screenshot, but congruently (itself a marketing issue I suppose). Obviously I dunno how feasible that is but might be worth toying with the idea at least.

  12. I think some of these topics that you do cover in books are great in course if you do take a full advantage of the video format – meaning you use it to stuff that cannot be portrayed in text. An example of this would be giving examples of how to behave on a date with a woman, including a mock date. Some people learn by examples so reading/listening to information does not work for those people, but once they see an example they get it immediately. I am partly like this. A lot of the stuff I can nowadays do well with women I learned literally by watching other men. The theory is great for understanding where it fits and why I do the stuff and what I should avoid but ultimately without examples it just creates confusion for me. If you include this kind of stuff I would consider the course very seriously – even at such a price. It is because ultimately I feel I already kind of know all the stuff but often mess things up when it comes down to doing it because I often don’t know how to put it in practice.

  13. I have no way of knowing for sure without demanding a screen shot of the transaction which given the nature of my field is intrusive. So I just accept whatever I’m told.

Ouch. I wonder if there is some sort of smart contract/distributed ledger type of solution.

  14. I went through the 2.0 product and found it was way too short for my liking. I’d only go for a video course on older men gaming younger women without having to pay them, if it featured at least a dozen other guys also speaking on camera and offering their tips and suggestions. They don’t have to be in person, can be through a Zoom call.

While having BD’s own past experience is good to go on, it’s not enough. I’d want to also hear from other older guys as well, like say Tom Torero, who regularly do cold approaching and see using Online Dating and OD apps as not being genuine game.

  15. Greg, you’ve been suggesting that for years on many threads. Trust me, I’ve heard you. What you’re asking for is very difficult to do, but I’ve heard you. Maybe someday I can do something like that.

  16. I’ve thought about the contract. That means they give me total access to their current accounts and leave all transactions to me which will be done within very strict parameters. A bit problematic in practice though as the control the client has to bring huge profits will be taken away, for instance…

Let us say I have a contract with client A who has 50k in accounts. The agreement is that I use 5k per transaction to generate anything from 5-8k pure profit(the info doubles the stake at a minimum). At 5k/transaction for 50k total, I’d run 10 transactions. Good for me..

Client A would argue (and he would be right) that this places a limit on earnings due to the strict parameters I will be operating under regarding trading.

He’d tell me by trading himself, he can earn more faster because he wouldn’t have to trade under any conditions and as such he can increase/decrease his stake per transaction at will depending on his targets which is known to him and varies with time.

    While I’m stuck to investing 5k, 5k, 5k, 5k/transaction ……due to terms, he could easily invest 10k, 20k, 25k ….etc.

That’s the problem with the contract.

  17. I’m still licking my wounds and overcoming my hurt feelings about the idea that “over thirty” counts as an older man. That was well back into the last century for me. Maybe I better wait for the Horny Grandpa course that follows.

Seriously, maybe a short course on TRT for those of us in that demographic?

  18. I agree with suggestions above about a mock date. Writing/talking is good, but, indeed, seeing someone do it is different. Because, BD, what you might take for granted during a date, what you do uncousciously, will never be transmitted in a text (by definition). And a guy who applies anything in the textbook might fail repeatedly and think “WTF? I did everything he said. Must be a scam.”

  19. Interesting concept. I was intrigued by your first course, but as someone bargain-oriented, it’s hard to pull the trigger on something $700-$800, even though I make ~$75k which is middle of the road for this city. It’s not that $700-$800 might not be a tremendous bargain for the value, it very well could be, but there’s no way of knowing or assessing that until after the fact. At least you posted the video durations/ topics I believe which is useful.

As you said, there are pickup trainings selling for $4k. Are they worth it? Who knows. In theory, they could be. In theory, they could be worthless. In those cases, there are first-hand accounts and reviews of people on various websites, giving you the idea of what it is.

Obviously you have a degree of credibility but nonetheless. The price is obviously more than the average consumer product, so the confidence needs to be higher too.

That said, sounds like you are targeting a different market than me (whales and/ or true believers) which is perfectly fine and sounds like you had great success with, so I’m not saying change anything.

As a side note, I’m most interested in the information marketer topic. I work a a big data analyst as my day job — I know expertise is different than numbers, but it definitely sounds like an ever-fertile frontier. You won’t be competing with “China” or big business when it comes to no-BS expertise in a niche area.

That said, as a more frugal person who invests in index funds, I may not be your target market. If there a bronze-tier plan that’s cheaper, count me in lol. But I wouldn’t expect you to change anything for Round 2 if everything worked well last time.

  20. While I’m stuck to investing 5k, 5k, 5k, 5k/transaction ……due to terms, he could easily invest 10k, 20k, 25k ….etc.

That’s the problem with the contract.

It does seem to be the sort of thing that could be solved with a smart contract. With a smart contract it may be possible to track the money without, for instance, seeing exactly where it is going (which might not be any of your business).

About 80% of setting a smart contract up is coding up business logic in JavaScript. This might create enough of a buffer to make off-shoring more difficult and therefore make bringing smart contracts to the little guys a good Alpha 2.0 business model.

    Good luck!

  21. Blackdragon! 22 year old reader. I found your blog in October after my gf wanted to open up our relationship. Love the way you think. I think we’re are a lot alike, you and me. I really respect the way you stick to the facts when you form your opinions. You did a post about covering this person’s blog before, but I felt this article really warranted some discussion. She really highlights the female perspective regarding sex during marriage, and it ain’t that pretty! https://realsexdaily.com/2012/09/10/sex-and-the-mind-of-the-married-woman/

  22. Greg says
    December 3, 2018 at 5:29 pm

I went through the 2.0 product and found it was way too short for my liking.

Unfortunately I agree with this.  The $700 pricetag in no way reflects the quality or quantity of the product and it’s more just a once-over-lightly “Here are the broad options and here’s the stuff you *could* do” rather than a specific nuts and bolts “THIS is how you do THAT” type course.  It would have been far more honest to market this as an introductory course at a far lower price and then charge higher for more specific, focussed information in the form of consulting / courses of specific niches or vehicles / whatever.

If this first course had been as comprehensive as it was advertised, there would be no place for follow-up “How to be a six figure consultant / information marketer” type courses, or the add-on audio course.

I personally wouldn’t buy another course written by Caleb because of this.

But as far as topics for the next course are concerned…any of the ideas laid out above seem viable given that the content delivered lives up to the advertising; I’m sure that there is a market for all of them. I’m really looking forward to seeing how the readers of this blog complete the survey rankings.

    Michael.

  23. Michael and Greg, I’m truly sorry you didn’t like the course. I’m sure you both got your refunds. But based on both the feedback I received and the lower than expected refund rate, your opinions are in the minority of those who got the course. The enthusiasm regarding this course was (and still is) very high. Higher than I expected, in fact.

  24. @JudoJohn

Read your comment several times but couldn’t make any sense of what you mean by a smart contract.

    Care to explain further?

  25. @Phero,

    Smart contracts and legal binding.

Almost everyone has heard of cryptocurrencies. A cryptocurrency is an implementation of a blockchain or “distributed ledger” but there are many applications, such as smart contracts. “A smart contract is ‘a set of promises, specified in digital form, including protocols within which the parties perform on these promises'” – Nick Szabo

The essential idea is to embed contractual clauses in digital form in a way that is irrevocable and transparent. One of the primary uses is to reduce the need for trusted third party intermediaries….think of buying a house. As it is, real estate fraud is possible, and we need the third party of government agencies to assure us that the property being sold by a party is actually owned by that party.  If it was all on a distributed ledger, then not only we’d avoid the cost of dealing with the third party, the transfer of money would automatically trigger the change of ownership. Transaction costs will plummet.

Quick note on transparency (and please understand I’m only beginning to start wrapping my head around all of this) is that although everyone can see the logic and everyone can see if anything changed, specifics can still be encrypted. Privacy remains the order of the day and as mandatory as the durability of the chain.

Very big dogs are working on this. The links above are to white papers by a big international law firm.

One question will be if this sort of thing ever trickles down to the little people….is there/will there be/can there be a use case for lone wolf consultants to help small businesses improve? I’m guessing yes, and I think the big dogs will let us have the scraps as the nitty gritty might not be worth their time.

Use cases I think more about have to do with non-recourse project finance. Smart contracts are computer programs based on “if then” constructs…..if this is done, pay that.

I was kind of musing aloud, having spent the morning reading about smart contracts and then seeing your comment. What you’re facing is a horrid lack of transparency.

  26. Whoa whoa I need to respond to the guys who are saying they didn’t like the last course. I’ve read lots of business books and Caleb’s course is the best source of actionable info I’ve ever purchased. Saying that the last course should have included all the information from all possible future business courses from him is ludicrous. Really bro?

If you went thorough all the materiel and didn’t receive the value of several times the cost of this course then I don’t think you guys were paying attention. The only way I can see this happening is if you already have a location independent business and already know all this stuff, but then why would you purchase this course?

Some people’s product critiques are weird.

I like the course, but I also think this is a fair comment.

This is a good course, no one can deny that. The real question here is whether the content reflects the expectation we have for it.

Can you build $6500/month businesses (assuming you put in the hard work) based on this course ALONE? I don’t think so. It serves as a great introductory to A2.0 business model and gives you some ideas about how your first A2.0 business should look like… But in order to get it to work, you have to learn a bunch of related, in-between topics, things that BD mentions in his ”Level Two suggestion”, like niches choosing, product design, customer management, product funnels… things that we ”expect” should be included right in this course. In short, ppl want more details.

After all, it’s an introductory course and it did an excellent job of giving you a clear framework. Caleb didn’t name it Ultimate A2.0 Business Course anyway, some buyers just have too high expectation here. It’s worth to note that many (me included) have never bought any expensive online business course before, we really have no idea if the content reflects the price tag or not. Over-expectation is understandable, I guess.

Having said that, I think Greg and Michael probably didn’t ask for a refund. I didn’t. It’s a good course nevertheless, plus the awesome FB community, just a bit under-expectation. It would be a dick move to pretend that one gets nothing out of it. Also, BD gave us much more than that price tag.

I personally will buy other courses from Caleb.

  28. Courses of any kind are only worth something if you put in the effort to make them work. If someone is inspired by BD’s course to actually set up a business, then they got their money’s worth.

Could they have done it without the course? Almost certainly. But they bought the course, got inspired and did it. They made it worth it.

I’ve signed up for Pat Flynn’s Smart Passive Income course over the last week. It obviously covers some of the same ground, maybe covering a narrower topic, maybe more intensively. It was under $200. I thought about BD’s course as an alternative, but apart from the fact it was more expensive, I figured Flynn would be selling a lot more and would probably invest more in the production costs. And he’s the market leader for this kind of thing. I wanted to see how the most successful guy did it. The package is as interesting to me as the content.

BD did a masterful launch. I happened to be reading Walker’s Launch, and this was a beautiful text book case. It convinced me that BD sure does know his subject and can put his knowledge into action. If he’s half as good at imparting that knowledge to other people, all you buyors got a good product.

  29. What you’re facing is a horrid lack of transparency.

    Exactly…

Smart contracts are computer programs based on “if then” constructs…..if this is done, pay that.

Looks good. The links you provided lead to downloads (?). Clicked but wouldn’t open. But from your comments it looks like this isn’t yet usable by small businesses and service providers. Will still discuss with a programmer though if a system similar to this can be set up

    Thanks for the info JudoJohn

  30. I think a Six Figure Consulting Course would be brilliant! It’s definitely one of the best Alpha 2.0 style businesses out there and certainly one most of the guys reading this blog can implement and achieve.

Do you know Sam Ovens BD? He’s become HUGE recently after releasing his consulting course which goes for thousands of dollars and to be honest I doubt he has ever even worked as a consultant in his life! There’s a huge demand for this sort of training right now.

In terms of your own personal financial gain, I reckon that that course would be the best route to take for you.

Russel Brunson talks a lot about how you should always present a “new opportunity” rather than an “improvement offer” as they will always convert better and bring in far more sales. That course sounds like a “new opportunity” to me. Some of the other courses are simply improvement offers. Nothing wrong with them but I think we’d all get more from something like that as long as it’s a complete A-Z guide on how to become a six figure consultant leaving nothing out! I would buy that a million times over!

  31. This is a good course, no one can deny that. The real question here is whether the content reflects the expectation we have for it.

Yes this is the main point. It really depends where your expectations are based on the information you get before buying it and your own background etc. Of course you cannot meet everyones expectation and according to Caleb he did get it very right since he didn’t get many refund requests.

I thought he was entertaining and easy to listen to, the content was very clear. It is actually good sometimes when it is short because why make it long if it can be concise. The quality of the content was very good however in my case there was not enough new actionable information that I did not know already. So for me also the price point was not reflecting the content. I will probably stay with caleb’s books since it feels like you get the same amount of info but at a much lower price point and for me the benefit of having it as a video course instead is not clear. Any plans to release these kinds of business info as books? One exception would probably for me be in the future something where there is a clear benefit of the video course like watching the mock dates. In fact I do not know if this is possible for Caleb legally but if he could go to some dates and record the thing somehow without the girl knowing that would be perfect – and also from other guys who are good at this. I would also consider a SMIC programme tier that would include regular monthly videos with caleb, that would be very interesting, at a price point a fraction of the cost of this course.

  32. Something like a ‘smart contract’ is all gimmick.

In theory in can work, but not today.

Also, the reason we have tomes and tomes of contract law is because people try to rip each other off all the time, and a smart contract would be designed for exactly this: Devil’s Deals where all seems fair until you’re F’ed up your arse and no court even has the ability to get your ‘bitcoin beanie babies’ back.

Really the only thing they’re really for is gambling or prop bets — which can be overcome with a neutral third party website, not a smart-contract where it’s hard to “hard-code” every possible nuance that could arise. Let alone depend on either some juvenile JavaScript hacks, or worse, expecting lay people or businessmen to actually understand the fine details of hacky JavaScript code shuffling potentially hundreds of thousands of dollars.

It’s just another gimmick that’s supposed to make currently-in-the-trash cryptocurrencies seem valuable. Crypto may have real value and use someday. That day is not today. Nor this year. Nor probably the next 5 years minimum. Currently they are speculative vehicles alone with no inherent value, sky-high transaction costs, and consuming a shit-load of the world’s energy for effectively zilch value.

It’s hilarious — 18 months ago, I was in San Francisco, that was all any tech geek at parties was talking about. Etherium was on the rise, etcetera. Everyone was going to create their own coin (a better scam that investing in one, that’s for sure). I mentioned at parties how nobody actually knows the original creator of BitCoin, and that he probably installed a backdoor where he could either suck up coins remotely or create billions (of coins) out of thin air.

Most of these tech geeks — many with little actual imagination — thought I was nuts. Ironically, months later, one of the “initial investors” of BTC died. They found his coin wallet’s contents had been … digitially vacuumed up, by his brother in law.

Bitcoin is utter trash. Wish I thought of it though. Beanie Babies for tech geeks.

Rule 1: Don’t invest in something you don’t fundamentally understand. And no, saying the blockchain contains the master ledger and the plurality of nodes confirms the source of truth is not understanding Bitcoin. That’s parroting some gobbledgook you read in a magazine to not humiliate yourself that you invested thousands in something you really, really want to take off, to get rich, but don’t understand. You don’t know the creator of this digital product – that alone should tell you that you’re an idiot.

  33. Distributed ledgers go way further than cryptocurrencies. I think it is absolutely worthwhile to study disruptive technology. The links I provided are to a respected international law firm and were published well before the recent crash.

  34. It feels like you get the same amount of info but at a much lower price point and for me the benefit of having it as a video course instead is not clear.

Echo this. While some ppl only learn the best with ”rich visual media”, I don’t. Seeing BD and Julia on-screen is great (and fun), but information-delivery-wise, it just feels like a glorified podcast and doesn’t do anything different to me. Honestly, if BD chose to publish the PDF version alongside with the course for around $100, I would happily buy it instead.

However, I totally understand that some ppl prefer this kind of learning method, and BD, as a business, has to maximize his potential income. I just wish we have had more choices. Ah, the monopoly of A2.0 expert on the market :p

  35. I think a Six Figure Consulting Course would be brilliant! It’s definitely one of the best Alpha 2.0 style businesses out there and certainly one most of the guys reading this blog can implement and achieve.

    My thoughts as well..

  36. Having said that, I think Greg and Michael probably didn’t ask for a refund.

That’s what I thought. Why complain if you got your money back?

I’m sure you both got your refunds

BD seems to think they did.

Courses of any kind are only worth something if you put in the effort to make them work. If someone is inspired by BD’s course to actually set up a business, then they got their money’s worth.

I agree with this. I was reading info on how to start and slowly monetize a blog back in 2011/2012, but never acted on it. Looking back on it, I wish I had. Of course I have better skills in order to get started now than I did back then, so there’s that.

It is a glorified podcast, but as stated in the previous comment it works great for some people. And these people are willing to pay a substantial amount for this medium. If you truly believe written materials that are cheaper are the same or easier to learn from, than I would stick to that and save my money.

  37. If you truly believe written materials that are cheaper are the same or easier to learn from

This, and timing matters too. I’m in a stable place work wise but have a lot to learn, so I’m looking at a 3-4 year process. I’ve talked myself into trying out the SMIC when I get my bonus on the 15th, since it’s a hell of a lot more content and I have time to play with. It seems that if someone is right on the edge of getting there, the courses would be a better value proposition.

  38. Which level do you think you’ll get?

Diamond. The past information plus some back & forth with Caleb makes that the right level for me.

  39. I’d stick to courses on location independent businesses and managing and maintaining open relationships.

Dating advice isn’t really your strong point when compared to some of the other PUA coaches that are out there.

This isn’t necessarily a bad thing as the topic of how to pick up chicks has been done to death where as alpha 2.0 stuff is new.

  40. Dating advice isn’t really your strong point when compared to some of the other PUA coaches that are out there.

In regards to daygame and night game, sure, but I’d put my online dating systems up against anyone in the entire PUA world.

  41. Fair enough . I was thinking of “in person game” since I’m more of a thrill of the hunt type.

One guy who *might* be on your level with regards to online game is RSD Jeffy. I’ve heard excellent things about his video course on online game but have not watched it myself.

  42. Dating advice isn’t really your strong point when compared to some of the other PUA coaches that are out there.

There’s a difference between pick up and dating. I think of BD as a relationship coach, not a dating coach. His advice on dating is spot on but basic: isolate and escalate, move on if need be. The online shit, I don’t care about….understand the Pavlovian Approach: If a woman puts her eyes on you with lust, she wants to fuck you. 9 times out of 10 she can’t or just won’t, but it’s a win every single goddamned time. She’s just not available. (GLL + BD > the rest, at least for good looking losers like me).

I told a story on one of BD’s blog posts about when I did have two plates in the air, one came over, found a bracelet of the others, flipped her lid, calmed down, and literally put the bracelet on and admired it. Another of BD’s fans put up a link to where BD described a very similar situation.

I have very rarely came across the logic of the two acronyms that put BD’s work on dating (not pick up) in a superior place: EFA and LSNFTE. The plate management section of the Red Pill comes close, but that’s the only other source I can think of about successfully embarking on non-monogamy as a man. I have read good stuff in comments here and there (read: Uncle V) but not from a “guru.”

I shamefully admit I still only fuck one of the women mentioned above, but my initial and continuing frame has her exactly where I want her, after a year. Text only for logistics, only once a week, no boyfriend bullshit, and she shows dread every time. Perfect. I mean yes, there is an advanced game of she knows I can catch fish and she pretends to be intimidated and acts right, even though she knows I’m not catching other fish, but we both know I can…..yeah, that was a hamster, and it’s also right how it spins. She’d also fuck happily along because for a while I was fucking a different girl every time, and even if it’s just 2, it’s a damn good rule.

Anyway, I hate on online dating because I’ve established a massive mismatch between my age, stage in life, and physical conditioning. I make more sense in meat space than cyber space.

BD, just coming clean, see you in the SMIC or I’ll just leave ya alone. Won’t be asking for any refunds, though.

  43. Online game is a good secondary addition for real life game. Especially for someone who wants to

live a player/alpha male 2.0 it’s best to learn how to pick up women in real life.  Night game for younger guys and daygame for older guys and younger as well.

I’d hate to be an online game only guy and then come across a gorgeous woman in real life but not be able approach and flirt with her due to the dating apps being a crutch.

^ In contrast an experienced daygame guy can pick up BD’s book and be excellent at online game within a few months.

  44. Dating advice isn’t really your strong point when compared to some of the other PUA coaches that are out there.

In regards to daygame and night game, sure, but I’d put my online dating systems up against anyone in the entire PUA world.

I followed a lot of PUA guys before I came here.  For your target audience I would say it’s by far the best site for your target audience.    Anything taught on here translates well to day game.  Once you get good at the entirety of online dating it translates to any other game.  It took about 6 months of practice (online dates) before I had a little hottie ask me (i’m 49) to buy her a drink during the day out in front of a restaurant.  I had to look at her license before I agreed.  Girl looked 18..  Get good at online dating you’ll be good at day and vice a versa.  Online translates to day game if you’re good at it.  As far as some night game, taking drunk girls at bars (some night game) home isn’t really game and doesn’t always translate well by itself.  I have buddies who do well at that and couldn’t get laid on a date with a sober girl to save their lives.

As far as a video course I’d say a mock dating video.  I think that’s about the only thing missing that other sites do.

  45. I’m more interested in the “maximize your finances” and other business course aspects that will help increase automated income with out increasing the amount of maintenance type work. Since these courses are expensive, I want to see a solid monetary return. Not very interested in relationship/woman type courses at this price point.  I’m perfectly happy with my current A2.0 arrangements – yes there could be some improvements.. but improvements would be small and don’t require this level of a course.

    December 4, 2018 at 12:19 pm

    Hey Caleb/BD,

I agree with Micheal’ s comment on the business video course.

Look, I bought your course and also the add on because I want to learn how to make money the 2.0 way. You have advertised the course in a way that you’re gonna teach us how to make at least 6,5k/month. But then you leave out the details so you can sell another course (“because it went well for YOU”). Sorry, but this is a dick move. I feel like I’ve been played.

Did I ask for a refund? No.
Why? Main reason is that you are probably the most positively influential person in my life a I wanted to support your effort. And I believe you can still fix this.

I understand that it was somehow an experiment and you had to calculate in the expenses & time from everyone involved. But now that it went so overwhelmingly well, can you at least consider doing the 2nd part of the course (hopefully definitive) as an add-on for a very reduced price for us buyers?

Maybe for guys from the US or Western EU it’s no problem to throw 700$ your way every 3 months, but I’m sure for a lot of us around the world it is. I know that you’re a hard core capitalist, but wouldn’t it be more true to your mission if you gave us also the rest of what you’ve advertised in a way that almost everyone can afford it?
