Ready to watch one of the most accurate-but-funny videos you’ve ever seen in your life?

Special thanks to SeductiKon who first posted this on the forums. He actually thought I wrote the damn thing, and guess what? I didn’t, but I could have. These two women have succinctly explained everything I’ve been saying about over-30 women for several years now. Their presentation is very funny, very cute, and very well done.

What I really like is that it not only pegs the mindset of an over-30 woman (which I’ve talked about quite a bit on this blog and elsewhere), but also that of a woman in her late 20’s. As I’ve talked about before, women enter a very brief “happy empowerment” phase when they hit about age 27. This phase only lasts two to three years until they hit the dreaded 30.

During a woman’s late 20’s, she’s reached a temporary confluence where she finally has most of her shit together and she’s still young, attractive, and full of hope.

For the first time in her life, she’s actually making money, paying her bills, finally done with school, excited about her career, is still having fun with life, doing many exciting things, still fucking guys and enjoying it (not tons of guys like she did when she was 20, but she’s still having plenty of wild and guilt-free sex), and most importantly, she still considers herself pretty, and likely still is. None of the wrinkles or grey hairs or saggy boobs or cellulite have kicked in quite yet. Emotionally speaking, in terms of happiness, this is when most women do indeed hit their peak.

Of course this all starts to crash down when she hits age 30, especially if she’s still not married yet (or in many cases, remarried). By age 33, she’s a completely different woman than she was when she was 28. If you don’t believe me, go on ten first dates with 28 year-old women, then go on ten first dates with 33 year-old women, and you’ll see what kind of massive change that particular five-year period makes in modern-day females. It really is shocking if you’re not prepared for it…years ago when I did this I certainly wasn’t. (It’s okay. I learned fast and adjusted accordingly.)

That’s the only change I’d make to the video. Instead of 29 and 31 I’d make it 28 and 33. Then it would be 100% accurate to a T. That’s a minor quibble though. The video is still great. Eerily Blackdragon-accurate.

The other thing it shows about late-20’s women is how much their standards suddenly start to skyrocket. When she was 25 she fucked all kinds of guys. Not any more! Now she’s hot and in-charge! She has standards now! This is okay, since she still a chill, happy, flexible gal. However, when she hits her 30’s, she’ll start getting more jaded, bitchy, and demanding yet her standards will keep on rising anyway. THAT is where we run into the problem with the over-30 gals. Sadly.

I’m really glad it’s two women making these points. That way they’re more likely to sink than if some asshole know-it-all man like me tries to explain it. 🙂

  1. Haha, funny video. Nailed it to a T. I’ve run into this a few times: older woman (usually 40+) who likes to drink every day and bang as many guys as possible. She’s usually still very attractive despite her age. Any insight as to what leads to this behavior?? And also where I can go to meet more of them? lol….

  2. Yeah they’re called cougars. 🙂 Hot or semi-hot older women strongly attracted to hotter, non-provider men. That usually means younger men.

  3. ” As I’ve talked about before, women enter a very brief “happy empowerment” phase when they hit about age 27. This phase only lasts two to three years until they hit the dreaded 30.” – I call this the “Sex and the City” phase… if you’ve watched the show you know what I mean

  4. Quick question:

Does the attitude adjustment at 33 happen to women who have already had children, or is it exclusive to the ones who have not?

My thoughts are that if a woman’s biological clock is somewhat abated by age 33, she’d be less of a c*nt, no?

  5. Does the attitude adjustment at 33 happen to women who have already had children, or is it exclusive to the ones who have not?

Common question, and the answer is there is NO correlation whatsoever between an over-33’s behaviors in a dating environment and whether or not she has kids. I have noticed no difference whatsoever, and other men have reported the same.

Either she wants babies from you or wants your help in raising her existing babies. It’s more or less the same for her at that point.
