We have a new contest, where you can win super-fantasticial prizes and gain the admiration millions of men all over the world. Or just have some fun.
My ebooks have been selling consistently since 2010. This blog has been consistently cranking out articles, without taking any breaks, since late 2010. My ‘how-to’ lifestyle and success book for men, The Unchained Man has been on sale since December of 2014 and has sold thousands of copies despite the fact I have barely marketed the thing because of other unrelated business projects I’ve been working on. Over this last weekend I surpassed 10,000 Twitter followers, something that has only been done by a very small handful of PUA gurus or manosphere bloggers.
Literally millions of men have read my stuff and put it into practice in their lives to some degree. I get your emails on a daily basis regarding your successes (and sometimes your failures) and these always brighten my already bright days.
However, other guys need to see this stuff. So many of you are huge success stories in regards to your woman life or your business life. I see your successes, but no one else does.
One of the problems with writing about these topics is that it’s a simple trap to start thinking, “Well, yeah, maybe Blackdragon can do this stuff, but I could never do it.” Or its more cynical cousin: “Maybe Blackdragon does this but no one else actually does this stuff.”
There are many examples of this, but the easiest example are those guys who think OLTRs are impossible or theoretical, yet millions of men (yes, millions) are already doing it right now. The same goes for things like:
1. Getting consistently laid using online dating, still to this day in 2016 even after response rates have gone down
2. Having MLTRs and FBs, for the long or short term
3. Making $75,000 a year or more from a business that takes you less than 35 hours a week to run
4. Having completely location independent income
5. Getting results from other types of game I don’t address, such as daygame, night game, and social circle game, and doing it within an Alpha Male 2.0 framework.
6. Accomplishing big goals or big transformations in the woman or financial areas, within a reasonably short period of time (1-2 years).
So many of you have fantastic success stories and other men need to hear these stories besides just hearing about me all the time. This brings us to our new contest.
The Alpha 2.0 Success Story Contest and Rules
Starting today, I am taking submissions from any man who has a success story in any of the areas of the Alpha Male 2.0 lifestyle that I discuss. This primarily means women/pickup/dating/relationships or money/business, though general self-improvement could also apply.
Write about anything that you’ve accomplished and/or any areas in which you’ve improved using any of the principles and techniques I’ve talked about either in a blog article, ebook, or book. I will read these submissions and choose the best one, second best and third best. These three guys will win prizes, described below, and will have their stories published on this blog.
These three stories, plus the additional top 10-20 submissions, will be published in a free ebook, available for anyone at the end of the contest, called Alpha Male 2.0 Case Studies. This way, we can all learn from your examples (for free).
First Prize: $500 CASH. If you live in the US, you can choose PayPal or we can mail you a check, your choice. If you live outside the US, you will be paid via PayPal, so PayPal and currency conversion charges may apply. Your story will also be prominently featured on this blog, front and center, before anyone else.
Second Prize: $300 credit towards any Blackdragon product or service that never expires. Your story will also be featured here on this blog.
Third Prize: A free Blackdragon ebook (any of them) or a free 30-minute coaching session, your choice. Your story will also be featured here on this blog.
Where do I send my success story?
Email it to email@example.com
We will not contact you, at all, unless you make it into finals, so please don’t bug us beyond sending your story. Anything sent to that above email address that isn’t an Alpha 2.0 success story will be instantly deleted.
When is the deadline?
The deadline is exactly two weeks from now: Monday, February 22nd at 11:00pm PST. Any submissions sent to the above address after that will be deleted without being read.
I will be announcing the winners at this blog a week or two after the deadline. The free ebook will be available for download shortly afterwards.
Who will be judging the submissions?
To begin with, me. My assistants will be doing some sorting, but I will be judging the first run-through. Once I get down to the best ones, I will have a few Alpha 2.0 buddies I know and trust help me pick the finalists.
Doesn’t that mean you might be a little biased?
I’m a human being so it’s certainly possible. If you’re concerned about me judging you based on how I currently know you, or knew you, or know your friends, or whatever, you are free to change your name and use an alternate email address so I don’t know who you are until I tell you you’ve won (if you win, that is). Of course if I know you reasonably well then I may be able to figure out who you are via your story, but do whatever you like as long as you’re honest. I will do my very best to be objective as possible, and judge based on specific criteria (listed below) rather than my history with you.
How do you know the stories you read will be true? What if there are lies or exaggerations?
If you can show me proof or evidence that what you’re saying is true, via photos, video, scanned documents, links, or similar, then the odds of you being picked as a finalist increase. This is not required though. It’s completely up to you.
Beyond that, I won’t know for sure and there’s no way for me to verify all these submissions, so you’re on the honor system. Please don’t lie and please don’t exaggerate what you’ve accomplished. It is possible we’ll get a few liars in the submissions? Sure, but I know from experience that we’re not going to get hundreds of completely fabricated stories.
Can I be anonymous?
Yes. If you wish to be anonymous, state at the top of your email what exactly you would like your alias to be if/when we publish your story. Also state your age. I’m looking for younger-guy success stories as well as older-guy success stories.
How long can these stories be?
There is a strongly-enforced character limit of 6500 characters (including spaces) according to the site lettercount.com. That’s the equivalent of about two and a half pages typed in normal font. So before you send your story to us, copy and paste it into lettercount.com and make sure it’s under 6500 characters. This character limit will be strictly enforced, no exceptions. If you go over this limit, your story will be immediately deleted, it won’t even get to me, and we will not tell you this has happened. So don’t be lazy about this and don’t forget. I know from past contests we’ve had that hell of a lot of you go way over the character limits. Don’t make that mistake. You will simply be wasting your time, not ours.
What is the criteria you will be using to judge the success stories?
I will judge the stories based on these six factors, listed here in no particular order:
1. How far you came, or how much you changed or accomplished from when you started. This is within some level of believability, of course. If you make insane claims, like you started homeless and became a millionaire in three months, or if you were a virgin and then suddenly had sex with 100 girls in a few months, I’m going to be skeptical. But I’ve heard and seen a lot of amazing stories, so I’ll try to keep an open mind.
2. How closely your story adheres to the Alpha 2.0 principles and techniques I discuss.
3. How interesting your story is.
4. How closely your starting point represents the typical beta or Alpha 1.0 within your age range.
5. Overall readability. If your writing is terrible, full of grammatical/spelling problems/errors, your odds of winning go down. Have someone proofread your story if you’re not a good writer or if English is your second language.
6. How motivational your story feels.
Who is eligible to enter the contest?
You must be a man and you must be at least 18 years old. Your submission must be written in English. There are no other requirements as long as your story falls into the character length limit. We will accept submissions from anyone, anywhere in the world.
The deadline is Feb 22nd! Whip up your success story and send it into firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have any questions, ask me in the comments below, and good luck!
